On
behalf of the staff and membership of Trinity Presbyterian Church we bring you
greetings. We are a diverse group of approximately 400 Christians seeking to
live out the Will and Way of Jesus Christ in Mercer, PA. We call us "diverse"
because no single word or phrase adequately describes our congregation. We are
older and younger, conservative and liberal, richer and poorer, introverted and
extroverted...you name it and we are it. Which is another way of saying we would
love to have someone like yourself join us in our journey of faith. We are sure
you will fit in!

Our Mission
Trinity
Church is a two-century-old community, focused on the worship of God as
revealed by the Holy Spirit in Jesus Christ. Celebrating our heritage
within the Presbyterian Tradition, we seek to be both reformed and
reforming. We understand worship to be the focus of our life together.
We welcome all persons without distinction, and we build our worship
around the preached Word, the prayers of the people, and the great hymns
of the Faith.
While we
understand worship to be the "alpha and omega" of our being, we also
seek by various ways to express our faith through education and service.
Our ministry to one another includes teaching the essentials and
challenges of the faith to our children and new members. We encourage
individual acts of service within the community and see these as visible
expressions of God's love for all creation. We seek to stay open to the
new leading of God's Spirit even as we celebrate the anchoring we have
through Scripture and Tradition
